Books
Creating books is something I find very relaxing. From the first steps of creating imagery and illustrations to layouts, looking at prints and choosing the paper and finally binding, which I do myself. Every step of the book design brings me joy.
Lost and Found
A collection of visual essays and installation images produced within the Lost and Found minor programme. Created collectively, the book reflects shared decision-making across every aspect of its production—from graphic design and format to paper choice and printing. The process offered valuable insight into the essential stages of bookmaking and underscored the importance of attentive collaboration within a group.

Glory to the body
This project explores body fat and related bodily textures through three lenses: oily skin, body hair, and greasy hair. Each of these traits is often deemed unattractive when made visible in public, and the project seeks to challenge that perception. For example, oily skin is reframed as a means of presenting oneself with the same intentional sheen celebrated in bodybuilding. The cultural emphasis on shaving and waxing is examined through objects such as a kiwi, cactus, fur, toothbrush, paintbrush, and grass—each used to question our assumptions about what is considered “natural” when hair is present. Greasy hair, meanwhile, becomes a generative material, producing unique patterns that are translated into clothing as personal, distinctive marks.

Humanized
A manipulated collection of Instagram travel photos that plays with the human figure and its role within the image. In these works, the background—long treated as a mere backdrop—receives renewed attention. Whether architectural or natural, these familiar travel destinations have been photographed countless times, to the point that they have become “humanised” by the presence of so many visitors.
Each image in the series is transformed into a different body part. Artificial and deliberately not anatomically accurate, these forms stand in for the countless individuals who have posed before these sites. Through intuitive digital manipulation, the backgrounds are reworked to expose close-ups and hidden structures embedded within the original images. Alongside these pieces, repeated patterns derived from the abstracted body parts echo the rhythms of the real backgrounds.
An ode to the backgrounds—finally given centre stage.

La Reunion patterns (the book which was part of the project “Pass it on” )

“Pass It On” addresses a challenge faced by many traditional crafts: the declining interest among younger generations. Vacoa craftsmen on La Réunion noted how difficult it is to engage young people in long-established practices, while emphasising the importance of preserving and transmitting these skills.
This project is designed to connect students on La Réunion with local craftsmen, demonstrating the mutual value of collaboration. It creates space not only for shared learning, but also for a deeper understanding of cultural heritage—an essential foundation for its preservation. Through a nine-week program, students engage in hands-on making, gaining insight into the craft and discovering the beauty and relevance of their own traditions.

Stairway to Heaven
A research-based essay project examining the staircase—one of architecture’s most fundamental elements. The essay analyses staircases from multiple perspectives: their representation in film, their monumental presence within architectural spaces, and the emotional sensibilities they evoke. Across these viewpoints, the staircase is appreciated for both its visual impact and its capacity to carry symbolic and emotional weight.

Tablewear

A tableware project exploring social interaction during buffets and picnics. Observing how plates often obstruct simple gestures—such as a handshake—I designed three wearable ceramic pieces: a necklace, a ring, and a bracelet. These functional accessories reimagine tableware by turning food into the jewel-like centerpiece, allowing people to eat and interact more freely.
